Biography

Every article written about Aaron Manuel Beltran, better known as Preemo within the music industry, will probably begin with something like this: “at first glance Preemo is very unforgettable, better yet, he may even go unnoticed”. Then after listening to the melodic hip hop sounds and flows this lyrical genius has created, the interviewer’s next statement in an article will more than likely say: “but once you hear his music you will undoubtedly appreciate the fact that this artist truly understands the history of hip hop and is bringing back to life what many have considered to be a dead form of artistry.” And when he is interviewed you will more than likely hear about his life struggles (such as homelessness), and everything he has had to sacrifice in order to persevere and rise to the top. From lyrics, to flows, to hustle, Preemo has definitely elevated from rookie status and is being welcomed to the elite class of Hip Hop by music critics and music lovers nationwide.

Preemo’s love of Hip Hop began at the early age of 10 when he began writing his own lyrics to his favorite hip hop beats. His career progressed when his name became widely known in the McAllen/Brownsville/Matamoros area and began performing in front of large audiences during his teenage years. Before the age of 20, Preemo had already been signed to a major record label but left that behind due to shady business management deals.
With knowledge, experience, and an unrelenting thirst to fulfill his ultimate goal, Preemo secluded himself for 3 years, giving true hip hop lovers what they have been waiting for; the critically acclaimed album, Concrete Dreams.
