(Sports News) Houston TEXANS Matt Shaub looking at some time off with a Major foot injury

This Sunday while playing Tampa Bay, Matt Shaub suffered a serious injury to his foot while preforming a quarterback sneak coming out of the end zone late in the second quarter. Even though he completed the game he  only threw three passes after the injury.

“He’s got a significant foot injury, he’s going to miss some time,” Kubiak said. “But we’re going to do everything we can to get it evaluated correctly and see if can get him back on the football field.”

So whats next? Matt Leinart will be starting and hopfuly he can pull through a couple of wins to get the TEXANS to the playoffs.

Houston is currently at 7-3 and is tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the lead in the AFC.

(Side note: Jacoby Jones is back!)
