OVERVIEW:

”UNAPOLOGETICALLY” By IMANI ROSE  is a nine track EP that displays exactly how unique IMANI is compared to many other artists. This album can either make a listener an avid fan or go running back to the more traditional style of today’s music.

WHERE IT MATTERS:

”UNAPOLOGETICALLY” goes from far left to far right and at many times leaves listeners looking like, “Wait, What just happened!?” You can tell with records like “I Do Me” & “Lovechild” that a planned direction was overthrown by IMANI’s bold, outside of the box style, which makes it easy to compare her to artists such as Nikki Minaj. However, with tracks like “Edie” & “Sleeping with the Enemy” It’s no denying that IMANI has a gift and great potential. With polishing and direction there is no telling where her next project may take her.

(Side note: Killa ft. Rai P was played on 97.9 KBXX during a mix by J-Que, this goes to show you that different can be good)
