Recently, the LA Clippers team owner, Donald Sterling, made some pretty offensive racial comments, specifically about black people. TMZ posted a recording of, who is believed to be, Sterling having a conversation with a woman identified as V. Stiviano. In the conversation, Sterling made comments about his disapproval of Stiviano associating with black people and bringing black people to his Clippers’ games.

Part of the recording states:

“It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people,” the man in the recording says, later adding: “I’m just saying, in your… Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people.”

“Don’t put him on an Instagram for the world to have to see, so they have to call me.” He says. “And don’t bring him to my games.”

Stiviano was photographed with Lakers legend, Magic Johnson and posted it on her Instagram, which led to the alleged conversation with Sterling.

Now if you were wondering who exactly Stiviano is and why she would even be having this conversation with Sterling, well let’s just say you wouldn’t be the only one. Stiviano is accused of being a seductress of older, wealthy men. Oh, but it gets better. Stiviano also faces a lawsuit against her for being an alleged gold digger, by STERLING’S WIFE OF 50 YEARS. Yes, of course Sterling is married and of course he possibly has little mistresses running around, but it continues to get better. Stiviano is also accused of embezzling more than $1.8 million dollars from the Sterling family.

Rochelle Sterling, Donald Sterling’s wife, claims that her husband used community property to buy Stiviano a 2012 Ferrari, two Bentleys and a 2013 Range Rover, worth a total of more than $500,000. The suit also says Sterling gave Stiviano $1.8 million to buy a duplex on West 4th Street last December and provided her with $240,000 for upkeep and living expenses. All of the property was supposed to be in the Sterling name, but Stiviano holds the title and refuses to relinquish it.

Hubby Sterling and Stiviano met during the 2010 Super Bowl and began their affair. They were even in a relationship when Rochelle Sterling filed the lawsuit against Stiviano. Oh, and did I mention that there are rumors that Stiviano goes by different names including Vanessa Maria Perez, Monica Gallegos and Maria Valdez. This lady has more issues than I thought.

Now back to Hubby Sterling. The NBA has put the recording into investigation. Sterling’s comments even urged a comment from President Obama. Obama is an avid basketball fan and also African American himself. He was definitely offended by Sterling’s statement. Check out the statement President Obama made below:

“I will make just one larger comment about this. The United States continues to wrestle with the legacy of race, slavery and segregation. That’s still there — the vestige of discrimination. We’ve made enormous strides, but you’re going to continue to see this percolate up every so often. And I think that we just have to be clear and steady in denouncing it, teaching our children differently, but also remaining hopeful that part of why some statements like this stand out so much is because there has been this shift in how we view ourselves.”

Yep. Couldn’t say it better myself. As a result of Sterling’s comments, the Clippers team had their own statement to make during the game Sunday night by turning their warm up gear inside out to hide the Clippers’ logo.

If what was said in the recording was true, I personally hope Sterling gets whatever comes to him. You can’t go around making racist comments all willy nilly, especially when you are the owner of a NBA team with predominantly black players. C’mon now! As for Stiviano and Rochelle Sterling…Yea good luck with that ladies.
