(AUDIO)Mo-City’s Lil Nick Brings Back Soulful R&B Sounds With New Release “History”

The summer is approaching and the Summer Runner camp out of Missouri City is gearing up to literally run the summer with new single “History.”

“History” introduces upcoming artist Lil Nick of the Summer Runners. Nick’s soulful harmonic vocals and traditional r&b sound is a perfect alternative to your everyday rap music. The soft acoustics on the production will take you back to the early 2000s when r&b artist vocally romance women.

He’s not giving you sex in a song like most of the currently state of the R&B genre. “History” is gentlemen’s music. All three men are giving you chivalry on the track providing evidence that they’re still noble men in the world.

Summer Runner lyricists Oblivious Jones and Rose Gold Young assist Nick by delivering two charming rap verses on “History,” but Nick is the clear star of the song. His melodious humming at the beginning of the song will instantly secure your attention and the mature tonality in his vocals on the hook not only authenticates his musical passion, but also his lyrical content. Check out the new track “History” below and tell us what you think.
