Jason “Leo Solomon” Walker a native of Houston, TX, began singing at an early age in school and church choirs. His parents instilled in him a love for old-school R&B crooners, such as The O’Jays, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass and The Temptations. As a high school student Solomon was known in his neighborhood for his willingness to sing. He graduated from high school and continued to sing and write music, while courting scholarship offers from prestigious colleges around the nation for track and football. While attending Texas Southern University in Houston, Solomon entered and won the Apollo Night his freshman year and later the B.E.T Talent Search as a sophomore. Despite grueling practices, games and national recognition for football his first love has always been music. Solomon graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a bachelor’s in Public Relations and minor in Music and has recently completed work on his demo album “My Life 7-23-85” in Feb 2009. Now he has a album dropping Nov. 18, 2010 titled “The Meal Ticket” with singles such as Teacher, Single, Grown Woman ft. Propain, and I Can Do Better ft. Dante Higgins. Be on the look out for it! It’s a solid album with slow jams to uptempo tracks. It is a must have album..
