Owners Danny Gonzales and David Ruiz always shared a vision to open up a business, ever since their adolescent years. Two child hood friends, who were into fashion and street wear style clothing, would eventually embark on the journey to open a small boutique and it would be called, Urban Assault. “We just put our heads together and decided to put this boutique together.”

386655_221516757928027_223750954_nOpen for a little over a year now, Danny and David have created a hot new spot in the Southeast area, dedicated to supplying urban street wear to young males, searching to be different from the rest. “It’s not like Marc Ecko or Polo that you see everybody wearing. The store is tailored for the younger males that are wanting to stand out and be different and not mainstream as far as wearing the same brands you see at Macys.”

Urban Assault has attracted many local celebrities including, Houston rappers, J-Dawg, Killa Kyleon and players from the Houston Astros. The boutique currently carries 12 street wear brands such as: Popular Demand,

10 Deep, Dope Culture, ImKing, with Billionaire Boys Club in the works.

From graphic t-shirts and tanks, to snap backs, wallets and pre-orders on shoe releases, any trendsetter can find something to their liking, with items ranging from $15-$40.  “That’s why we like the brands that we carry, just to be different.”

David and Danny are now creating designs to kick off their own Urban Assault line, with two graphic tees already on shelves, including a homage t-shirt to the late, DJ Screw. Their also working to build up their brand and one day branch out to other parts of Houston, but right now they can be located on the Southeast side of Houston, one of the only urban street wear boutiques on that side of town.  They are hitting H-Town with the street wear game.
