Darnell “L Teezy” Sneed

 

Darnell “L Teezy” Sneed (born 1984) is American rapper, record label owner/executive, and philanthropist. Born out of Galveston, Texas, yet raised in Angleton and Bay City, Texas grew up on the streets of Southwest Houston, Texas he is better known by his stage name “LTeezy” where Darnell has worked hard and made a name for himself. His first project was a compilation called “Def Clef” which was released in 2000 and included artist and producers such as Sleepy and Young Taz. Darnell has appeared on one major mixtape released in October 2009 called “Beat Bosses Vol 1” by The Presidentz and was on the side of major artists such as Drake, Eminem, and Lil’ Wayne just to name a few. His first solo project was mixtape “Round 1” released in July 2010 hosted by “Kasper The Mixtape Queen” and included ATL artist B-Boi of the group Mullage. Currently Darnell has started his own record label, and is working on his second album “Centerstage” with partner-in-crime L.A./Virginia artist Tragic, which is set to drop early April. On this album he will be working with well-known producers such as the “Drum Majors” who are based out of ATL and “Jaywan Inc” also based out of ATL. Tour dates are also set up for this Spring to promote his new album, these cities will include Bay City, Houston, San Diego, Kansas City, ATL, and Miami. Be on the lookout for more big things from this artist in the near future.
